To prevent others from seeing your messages, go to Settings > Messages and toggle off the Show Preview option.

If you want to hide the name of the sender in your text messages on your iPhone 13, you can do so by going to Settings > Messages and disabling the Show Preview option.

To show just the name of a text message sender on your iPhone, go to Settings > Notifications > Messages and turn on “Show Preview.” This will show the name of the sender instead of the full text of the message.

If you want to hide the names of people in notifications when your screen is locked, go to Settings -> Notifications -> Show Previews and set it to “When Unlocked”.

To hide the messenger notification name on your iPhone, open the Settings app and tap on Notifications. Scroll down and tap on Messenger, then toggle off the Show in Notification Center switch.

There are a few ways to only show the name of the person who sent you a text message on your iPhone. One way is to go to Settings > Notifications > Messages and under “Show Preview” choose “Name and Text”. Another way is to open the Messages app and swipe left on a conversation. Under “Contact” it will show the contact’s name and not their phone number.

There is no one definitive way to do this. You may be able to password protect your messages app, or use a different messaging app that is not installed on her phone.

You can’t hide your name on Messenger, but you can choose not to show it to your friends. To do this, open the app and go to Settings > Privacy > Who Can See My Name. Change the setting to Only Me.

To hide incoming messages on Messenger, open the app and go to Settings > Secret Conversations. Toggle the switch to enable Secret Conversations.
