All told, there are 25 powerups in Muck, but this guide focuses on the jetpack. It will not only clarify what the jetpack does, which isn’t as obvious as you may think, but also how you get it.

As with other loot and upgrades found in Muck, you’ll find jetpacks in loot chests scattered around the world, opening them up with coins you find by defeating enemies or looting other chests.

There are four tiers of loot containers: black, white, blue, and gold. Black loot containers are free to open, while the others cost 25, 80, and 200 coins respectively.

The jetpack is a common item, so target black and white loot containers.

Black containers have a 90% chance of containing a common item White containers have an 80. 3% chance.

You don’t have to get coins to find the jetpack; you could rely on black chests, but you’ll be able to check more chests if you are willing to pay for the white ones.

Once you get a jetpack, you’ll find it is more like a thruster pack than a traditional jetpack. It only gives you increased jump height. You can’t fly with it.

Once you find a jetpack and equip it, you will be given a jump buff, and you can stack jetpack buffs to increase your jump height two steps for every one jetpack you collect.

For example, the base jump height is 12, and one jetpack will increase it to 14. Two jetpacks will increase it to 16, and so on.

If you want to beat Muck, it’s important that you upgrade your character as much as possible. Buffing your character with upgrades like the jetpack is a great way to do that. For more on Muck, consider heading over to our dedicated guides page.
